Gavio & Torti S.p.A. deals with road freight haulage for third parties for different types and sizes of containers, box-high cube-open-top 20/40/45 feet, tank containers and tipping containers.

The vehicular fleet, which is constantly upgraded in terms of both functionality and sustainability, has about 80 differently equipped road tractors for broader application – such as tipping pumps/compressors/low-bed vehicles, and an equal number of multifunctional semi-trailers. All are equipped with a geolocation system that ensures both greater security and real-time knowledge of their location. More than half of our drivers hold an ADR license, augmented by the qualification for working at height, essential for dangerous goods transportation and tank container unloading.
The company is located on real estate totaling 53,000 square meters, where 7,000 square meters are covered for warehouse/office use and 46,000 square meters uncovered for enclosed, monitored yard use for vehicle shelter and container storage. Indeed, customers who require it are offered the option of leaving their containers in long-stay storage thanks to the presence of an operating machine for loading and unloading. Additionally, the docking equipped warehouses allow the material to be moved from containers onto curtainsider trailers for side unloading. Lastly, the presence of an on-site scale allows the VGM to be verified, therefore streamlining the entire process and accordingly speeding up turnaround times which have shortened progressively over time.
